Story Times for young readers.
With over twenty playlists of virtual Story Time videos and counting, we aim to be a resource for families and teachers as they help their children navigate school in the time of COVID and beyond. Videos are arranged by playlist to complement school curriculums and reinforce the skills children learn in class. For too many students, videos like these may be the only access to books they have this year. COVID has shown us that access to books in a variety of formats is essential if we are to eliminate the inequalities in education that organizations like ours seek to end. If kids can't come to the library, we need to bring the library to them.
Our Books for Kids Story Times help children build their early literacy skills while promoting values like curiosity and a joy for learning that they can carry with them through their lives. This is true in person and online. Stories and activities are performed by our team of expert storytellers, our beloved Library Specialists, who children in BFK libraries have come to know and trust.
We hope you and your little ones find a new favorite story and share some memorable moments together while exploring the virtual stacks.
